About Me
My name is Piangduan which means the moon. You can also call me Moon. Chiang mai is my hometown. Besides owning a local coffee shop there, I also love to meet travelers from around the world, to share with them my favorite waterfall in Chiang Mai, Bua Tong waterfall. I own a car that suits up to 6 people and my twin sister and cousin usually accompany me on trips. My hobbies include watching films, working out and now my favorite thing to do is paddle board. I also love cooking spicy Thai food like Tom kha kai and spicy beef salad.

Bua Tong Sticky Waterfall Tour with Super Local Expert

Moon is a very patient, lovely person. She picked us up at our hotel and drove to the sticky waterfall. She showed us the 7 color fountain and explained us the historical und chemical background of the fountain and the sticky waterfall. She nicely answered also every other question about culture, religion (Buddhism) etc. First, she walked with us down the waterfall and afterwards the way down. She explained for what we should pay attention walking up the waterfall. We recommend walking there with Moon as an expert, so you don’t injure yourself and have a wonderful experience. After that we had free time to climb the waterfall by ourselves. Then we had lunch together und and she drove us back to our hotel. Things that were also great: Moon gave each us a waterproof bag for our mobile phones, she took pictures of us with here mobile phone and air dropped them later via iPhone.
It was a beautiful day and we will never forget it!

P Moon is an excellent guide that is very familiar with Sticky Waterfalls!! It was a personalized tour considering how the group only consisted of people in my party. She was very friendly and informative during the whole tour and taught us a lot about the history behind both the waterfalls and the area itself, which we really appreciated. She led us up the waterfall first to show us the spots to look out for, but then allowed us to explore it at our own pace, which we really enjoyed. P Moon also had incredible communication skills before, during, and after the waterfall climbing, so it was always clear as to what we should pack and expect from the day. All in all, she was an excellent guide and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to explore Sticky Waterfalls!!
